Terms of service

Who's selling. Salt Lake Monthly is sold by Cale Cromar, a one-person business in Murray, Utah. It's a printed newspaper of free events and places to volunteer in Salt Lake County, mailed to you.

Prices. A subscription is $10 a month. A one-time copy is $12.50. Postage is included. Checkout shows any tax before you pay.

How the subscription bills. You pay $10 when you sign up, for Issue 1. Then your card is charged $10 on the 1st of each month, starting Tue Dec 1, 2026, and each charge pays for the next issue. It renews automatically every month until you cancel. No minimum. You'll get an email 3 days before each charge, and 7 to 30 days' email notice of any price change.

How to cancel. Sign in at account.saltlakemonthly.com with your email and a 6-digit code, open Subscriptions, and click Cancel subscription. It takes effect right away. Or email saltlakemonthlypaper@gmail.com and I'll cancel within one business day and confirm. Canceling stops all future charges. An issue you already paid for still mails to you.

Shipping. US addresses only, by USPS First-Class Mail. Issue 1 covers all of November 2026 and mails Tue Nov 3, 2026. Order by Tue Oct 27 to get it. Moving? Change your address in your account, or email me, before the issue mails.

If Issue 1 is late. I'll email you before Nov 3 with a new date and the option of a full refund.

If the paper stops. I'll email you, renewals stop and nobody is charged again. Any issue you paid for that hasn't mailed is refunded in full to your card.

About the listings. I check each listing against the host's own page before it prints, but events change and other people run them. Check with the host before you go. I can't promise an event happens as listed or answer for how it's run.

Limits. For any order, the most I owe you is a refund of what you paid.

Changes. If I change these terms, I'll post them here and email you first if it affects your subscription.

Law. Utah law governs these terms. Nothing here takes away rights your own state's consumer laws give you.
